Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho Neuro unit with an IN or compact RN license and recent BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 16-bed Med/Surg Ortho Neuro unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes orthopedic and neurological cases
• Typical patient ratio is 1:6-8
• Day shift position, working from 06:45 to 19:15
• Local candidates may be considered but will receive a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
• Travelers are encouraged to discuss contract extensions with their managers 45 days before end of assignment
• All positions are auto offer
• Two professional references and a copy of driver’s license are required for consideration
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Must provide Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required
