As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your responsibilities. You will build strong relationships with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication in alignment with our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Follow all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
