Medical Director & Inpatient Psychiatry opening in Naples, FLFull-time; Permanent positionEmployed Job Description: Seeking a visionary Medical Director & Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in beautiful Naples, Florida. This is a full-time, salaried leadership position responsible for providing clinical oversight and direct psychiatric care within our Crisis Stabilization Unit, Detoxification Unit, and Adult Outpatient Medical Services. The role combines strategic medical leadership with hands-on patient care, supporting innovation in service delivery, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Provide direct psychiatric services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, medical orders, and participation in involuntary hearings. Deliver care primarily within our adult Crisis Stabilization Unit, with additional support provided to child crisis units as needed. Offer some coverage for adult outpatient services during regular weekday hours. Lead and mentor a team of psychiatric professionals, including PMHNPs, through clinical supervision, daily rounds, and protocol oversight. Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations (with enhanced compensation). Collaborate with executive leadership, clinical directors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine psychiatric service lines. Drive innovation in treatment modalities, including support for emerging practices such as TMS and technology-enhanced care (e.g., AI, telepsychiatry). Support medical residency education and professional development programs. Represent organization in partnerships with community agencies and stakeholders to strengthen integrated behavioral health delivery.
