The Internal Medicine Physician will conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans, focusing on interview-based and some physical evaluations. The role requires a flexible PRN work schedule and collaboration with Veterans Evaluation Services across multiple U.S. locations, including Houston, Idaho. Candidates must hold an active medical license, relevant certification, and be willing to complete DMA training for qualification.

This role involves performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across varying locations in the U.S., focusing on the beautiful city of Houston, Idaho. Job Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete required administrative work such as addendums and medical opinions within designated timeframes.
- Work flexibly on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts.
- Collaborate effectively with Veterans Evaluation Services as part of a national effort to support veterans' health needs.
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Proficient in METs testing, with experience evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Ownership of a laptop (Windows-based; no Mac/Apple products).
- Certified by AANP or equivalent.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is preferred.
- Current Medical License with no restrictions.
- AANP Certification or equivalent.
- DMA certification required upon completion of designated training.
