Currently looking for an Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to fill an opening located around the Chico, California area. Interested candidates should have a license to practice as a PTA, and have graduated from an accredited LPTA program. Interested candidate should also have a valid CA PTA license or already have started the process of obtaining them.



Currently looking for an Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to fill an opening located around the Chico, California area. Interested candidate should also have a valid CA PTA license or already have started the process of obtaining them.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

  • Open to new grads but prefer a minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
  • Active CA PTA license, or eligible to obtain
  • Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
  • Inpatient Setting

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

  • Plan and implement treatment interventions according to patient plan of care
  • Documents daily record of patient's condition, adapting treatment plans accordingly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Communication of patient progress with Physical Therapist, patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
  • Patient and family education of patient progress to include skilled recommendation on AE/DME and community support where available and when appropriate
  • Ability to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and lift/assist patients as needed
