WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a full-time Internist for their Dover practice in suburban/rural York County. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Internal Medicine. He or she must also be Board Certified/Board Eligible.
Position Highlights:
- Join a collegial team within an outpatient primary care setting
- 3 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner
- Long-term staff with low turnover
- Great hours: Mon 10a-7p, Tues 8a - 5p and Fri 8a - 3p
- Practice is a Top 10 Recommended Practice via Press-Ganey survey
- Providers Quality numbers are consistently above the medical group goal
- Patient population: mix of young, middle-aged adults and seniors
- WellSpan now utilizes DAX - Dragon Ambient experience. DAX is an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note into the EPIC EHR for the provider
