RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM with daily huddle at 6:45 AM
• Operating room operates from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM (6 rooms), 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (3 rooms), 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (2 rooms), then on-call team coverage
• 1:1 patient ratio for circulating nurse responsibilities
• On-call shifts required 1-2 times per week including weekdays and weekends
• 30-minute response time required for on-call situations
• Weekend coverage provided by on-call staff 24 hours Saturday/Sunday
• Call shifts begin at end of regular shift (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Self-schedule on-call shifts based on PTO requests
• May float to preoperative holding area
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Artificial nails, dips, gels, etc. not permitted
• Work with EMR system Meditech ORM
• Handle varied procedures including heavy robotics, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, colorectal, vascular, and urology
• Must have 2 years OR circulating experience at acute care hospital
• Varied skill set required with general surgery, ENT, urology/gynecology, orthopedics, and robotics
• CVOR experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• 5+ years experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Must be flexible with ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment
