- Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital, with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
- Responsible for performing MRI cross-sectional imaging and other related procedures as directed by a licensed physician.
- Operates and monitors MRI equipment.
- May assist in other areas as requested.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent
- Training in Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and/or Cross Sectional Anatomy
- ARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligible
- Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- Formal MRI Education
- Three (3) years experience in a hospital environment
