We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine - Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Washington State, near Garfield, WA. This long-term assignment offers the chance to work in a dynamic inpatient and outpatient setting while delivering expert care to patients with advanced heart failure.
Position Highlights:- Start Date: Immediate, ongoing assignment.
- Schedule:
- One week per month (7 days inpatient).
- Shifts run from Tuesday 7 a.m. to the following Tuesday 7 a.m.
- Night call included, with likely call-backs to the facility.
- Patients Per Shift: 513.
- Practice Setting: Combination of inpatient and outpatient care.
- Certifications Required:
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine with Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology specialization.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
- Demonstrated expertise in heart failure management.
- The facility is fully equipped with Epic EMR for seamless documentation.
- Temporary privileges are available for qualified candidates to expedite the onboarding process.
- Hospital is certified for stroke care.
- Collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team:
- 12 RNs, 3 MAs, 3 PAs/NPs, and 7 office staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- No supervision of advanced practice providers or residents required.
- Must hold a valid Washington State license.
- Travel and lodging are covered by the vendor.
- Credentialing is streamlined with an estimated 30-day timeframe.
