Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician
Job Details:
• Work 40 hours per week on a 4x10 schedule (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM) with rotating days off
• Possibility of call coverage only on weekends and holidays
• Provide imaging and treatment services to patients of all ages in inpatient/outpatient clinic settings
• Administer ionizing radiation (radioactive material and computed tomography), nonionizing radiation, and adjunctive medications for diagnostic, therapeutic, radiotheranostics, or research purposes
• Perform nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures, radiotheranostics, and therapies
• Acquire and analyze data for interpretation by licensed practitioners under supervision of authorized users
• Prepare, administer, and document activities related to radiation and medication administration
• Work independently and assist licensed practitioners in completion of nuclear medicine procedures
• Required certifications: CNMT certification by NMTCB or ARRT-N registry, Basic Life Support Certification
• Must be graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred
