Med/Surg/Tele RN Position - Night Shift - Rochester, NY

ScheduleNight 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.
Job DescriptionThe Med/Surg/Tele RN will provide specialized care for patients on the Acute Stroke Unit, focusing on the management of acute stroke and other neurological disorders. This position requires attentiveness to patient care, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7.
- Perform cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Manage IV therapy and phlebotomy, including peripheral line care.
- Provide respiratory support, including nasal cannula and oxygen therapy.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and evidence-based stroke care protocols.
- Active New York State RN license (in hand).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
