Shift: Night, 3×12 (19:00–07:00)
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience REQUIRED
Must be comfortable floating to Med-Surg
L&D coverage is limited (a few patients per month), but L&D competency is mandatory
Active Idaho RN license OR Compact RN license REQUIRED
Primary assignment: Med-Surg
Secondary coverage: L&D (low volume)
Must be flexible and comfortable supporting both areas
Call: Required (per unit needs)
Adult patients
Obstetric patients (limited volume)
Orientation provided (unit based)
COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
Flu vaccine: Facility guideline applies
This is NOT a full-time L&D unit role
Ideal candidate has strong L&D background and is comfortable working Med-Surg most shifts
Flexibility is critical due to rural hospital setting
