Infection Control and Employee Health RN Winfield, KS We are seeking a highly qualified Infection Control and Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Winfield, Kansas. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs to contribute to patient safety and infection prevention efforts within a dynamic facility. Key Responsibilities: Implement and oversee hospital infection control policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor infection trends and coordinate interventions to minimize infection risks across departments. Conduct employee health screenings, immunizations, and wellness programs in accordance with facility protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure adherence to infection prevention measures. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using the CPSI platform. Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control practices. Assist in outbreak investigations and prepare reports for regulatory agencies as needed. Qualifications: Valid Kansas Compact or Kansas State RN license. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification in Infection Control (CIC) highly preferred but not mandatory. Prior experience in infection control, employee health, or a related healthcare setting is strongly preferred. Familiarity with healthcare IT platforms, especially CPSI, is advantageous. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Work Conditions: Full-time opportunity with competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on education, certifications, and relevant experience.
