Schedule: • Coverage Type: Scheduled + No Call • Shifts: 4x10s or 3x12s
Facility Details: • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital • Trauma Level: Adult Level I • Practice Setting: Hospital (Level I Trauma Center) • Charting Software: Epic (preferred) • Support Staff: CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists CRNAs are medically directed (typically 2:1 or 3:1 ratio; may be up to 4:1 for low acuity) Attendings often have a resident in the other room and focus on teaching • Average Census: 1 9 cases per day • Patient Population: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics (No Neonatal)
Case Mix: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart, No OB) Skills Required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial Line, Line Placement, (Blocks not typically required) Key Highlights: • Level 1 Trauma experience • Wide case variety across multiple specialties • NORA coverage required
