Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (OB/GYN, ABD, Breast, Echo) at Glens Falls Hospital; per-diem/flexible scheduling in Glens Falls, NY; hourly pay $37.07–$55.61; variable-length/per-diem contract. - ARDMS or ARRT registered or registry-eligible in an ultrasound discipline (must obtain certification within 2 years)

Job Description The Impact You Can Make Team Impact The ultrasound technologist will work directly with radiologists/cardiologists to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures that require judgment and ingenuity while responding to any of the patient's special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Responsibilities
- Performs quality ultrasound exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols.
- Provides for appropriate patient care, safety, education, and an exceptional customer service experience during procedures.
- Maintains appropriate documentation of patient records
- Presents appropriate filming and technical findings of ultrasound scans to the radiologist/cardiologist.
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program
- ARDMS or ARRT registered or registry eligible in an Ultrasound discipline (i.e.OB/GYN, ABD, Breast or Cardiac Echo). Eligible candidates must obtain certification within two years of hire date.
- CPR Certified
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, students, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of people.
- Ability to coach and teach at the adult level.
- Ability to promote and work in a team setting.
