Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend required unless staffing allows for reduced weekend requirement
• Float between ICU and Telemetry units
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios: 2-3 patients in ICU, 1:4-5 patients in Telemetry
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including post angiogram, respiratory failure, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, sepsis, stroke, and cardiac conditions
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Unit scrub color: Navy Blue
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, preferably at Level 1 Center
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Skills required: Impella experience, balloon pump experience, stroke care, STEMI care
• Missouri license or Compact license required
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references required
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

This healthcare facility operates a 16-bed ICU with 12 rooms and maintains an average daily census of 9.5 patients. The facility provides comprehensive critical care services and telemetry monitoring with full interdisciplinary support teams. The organization accepts first-time travelers and maintains flexible scheduling options while ensuring quality patient care through experienced nursing staff and modern medical technology.
