Job Details:
• Work in high-risk Level III NICU caring for neonates
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 2-3 years of NICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• 36-hour orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, STABLE
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Must be comfortable with administration of blood products, arterial line management, high frequency ventilation, central line care, developmental care, various feeding methods, respiratory management, and ventilator management
• Care for neonates 29-34+ weeks gestation with conditions including respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal sepsis, necrotizing enterocolitis, and neonatal abstinence syndrome
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, and unit secretary
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
• Hard document deadline: Tuesday 4:30pm CST prior to start with no exceptions
