Candidates must have a Radiologic Technologist license, pediatric and OR experience, and certifications including ARRT and BLS.

SHIFT TIMES: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Saturday; Sunday; Monday
Performs routine imaging examinations in Diagnostic Radiology on a scheduled and emergency basis
following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations.
•Examinations/Procedures
• Reviews and evaluates requisitions for Diagnostic imaging procedures, abstracting data
from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given
diagnosis and clinical signs for routine examinations.
• Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers.
• Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal
anatomy.
• Assesses patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and ability to respond to
instructions and develop a care plan for that patients' specific needs.
• Explain the examination and is able to answer questions from patient and parents
regarding the exam and Radiation exposure, practices ALARA.

Current MA Radiologic Technologist license
