- Perform all duties under the direction of the Clinical Education Supervisor
- Adhere to nursing standards of practice, company policies, and all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements
- Support a culture of patient safety, clinical quality, and improved patient outcomes
- Develop competency to educate staff on safe and effective use of the 5008X dialysis machine
- Plan, schedule, and deliver education programs for new and current staff across assigned facilities
- Utilize appropriate learning methods, venues, and generational teaching techniques
- Partner in the execution and resolution of 5008X action plans
- Facilitate immersive, engaging learning using approved tools and resources
- Demonstrate and oversee direct patient care activities during training
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including facility leadership, physicians, hospitals, and contracted personnel
- Demonstrate leadership skills including communication, customer service, quality improvement, relationship building, critical thinking, and team development
- Support KPI and metric programs through accurate documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Maintain current knowledge of products, equipment, services, and clinical strategies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Work environment typical of a healthcare facility with controlled temperatures and moderate noise
- Possible exposure to infectious or contagious materials
- Frequent standing and bending required
- May assist in moving equipment up to 200 lbs (with assistance)
- May lift supplies up to 30 lbs up to 5 feet
- Desk and computer work combined with hands-on clinical floor support
- Up to 100% travel required
- National travel
- Frequent relocation per predetermined deployment schedule
- Travel to regional, departmental, and corporate meetings as needed
- Work hours during deployment weeks align with clinic operating hours
- Ishihara Color Blindness Test required (failure does not preclude employment; reasonable accommodations considered)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current RN license in primary state of residence
- Multi-State/Compact license preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain RN licensure in assigned states
- Must meet state-specific practice requirements
- Minimum 1 year dialysis RN experience (1,500 hours within the past 3 years)
- Current BLS (CPR) certification and completion of all required annual competencies
- Minimum 1 year (1,500 hours) of nephrology nursing experience within the past three years
- Chronic hemodialysis experience required
- Fresenius Medical Care T-Machine experience preferred
- Strong clinical education, communication, and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently in a highly mobile, fast-paced deployment environment
