Position:

Atlassian Product Owner

Job Description:

The Atlassian Product Owner owns the strategic vision, operational roadmap, and governance for Arrow’s Atlassian ecosystem, ensuring Jira, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management (JSM), and approved Marketplace applications are standardized, scalable, and optimized to support collaboration, delivery, and enterprise reporting. Serving as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical platform teams, this role translates needs into a prioritized backlog, establishes consistent patterns (templates, workflows, fields, permissions), and drives adoption through enablement and clear platform guidance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own the multi-year strategy and roadmap for Arrow’s Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, JSM, Bitbucket, and approved Marketplace apps).

  • Align platform capabilities to enterprise objectives, delivery needs, and operational efficiency goals.

  • Establish and enforce governance and standards (workflows, fields, issue types, naming conventions, and permission models) to ensure consistency and scalability.

  • Evaluate, approve, and rationalize Atlassian Marketplace applications in line with governance and platform strategy.

  • Translate stakeholder needs into a prioritized backlog (epics/user stories/acceptance criteria), balancing user value, strategic outcomes, and technical health.

  • Own prioritization of the Atlassian enhancement backlog, balancing technical health, user needs, and strategic outcomes.

  • Drive platform adoption through enablement, templates, standards, communications, and best-practice guidance.

  • Partner with platform development and administration team to ensure configurations support enterprise integrations, data flows, and reporting.

  • Serve as the primary liaison across business stakeholders and technical teams, providing clear guidance and communication on platform usage and changes.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business systems analysis.

  • Handson experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Bitbucket.

  • Strong understanding of platform governance, standardization, and enterprise scale enablement.

  • Proven ability to work across technical and nontechnical stakeholders and influence without direct authority.

  • Familiarity with Atlassian automation, scripting tools, and APIs preferred.

  • Experience supporting enterprise service workflows or scaled Agile delivery preferred.

  • Atlassian certifications (ACP or equivalent) are a plus.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.
