Experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioner needed for a 10-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in New York. This opportunity, starting on 01/02/2026, requires working 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing H&Ps, providing medical clearance for psychiatric evaluations in a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, and working with Allscripts EMR. The primary responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. This position offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations
• Provide medical clearance for psychiatric evaluations in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilize Allscripts EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
Additional Information:
