An Emergency Medicine Physician provides urgent care in a hospital emergency department, managing an average of 2.7 patients per hour with a total annual volume of 24,000 patients. Responsibilities include writing diagnostic orders using pre-completed templates and delivering trauma-level care in a 12-bed ED setting. Candidates must hold an active state license and relevant board certifications, with proficiency in EMR systems like Cerner required.

- Preferred Schedule: 6a-6p / 6p-6a
- Worksite Setting: Inpatient/ Hospital, Trauma level 3, ED Bed 12 (2 trauma)
- Scope of Work: ED Physician is responsible for writing orders using pre-completed templates by diagnosis, Patients per Hour: 2.7 including shared APC visits, Annual Patient Volume: 24k
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active AL License, BC must be board certified within 5 years of completing residency, ABEM/AOBEM/ABFM/ABIM EM/FM/IM, EMS (required), ATLS (waived if ABEM certified, PALS (preferred, but not required), ACLS (waived if provider is ABEM boarded)
