Job Opportunity: Locum General Medicine Physician in Houston, MN

We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role allows for flexible scheduling and the opportunity to serve those who have served us.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Conduct primarily interview-based assessments, including physical evaluations such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete administrative responsibilities including report submissions and any required addendums.
- Collaborate with a team focused on providing quality healthcare to Veterans.
- Option to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based on availability.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experienced in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine with compensation and pension experience.
- Must possess a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Ability to complete DMA training for certification.
- Current home address required for presentation.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted full medical license.
- AANP certified.
- Willingness to perform general medicine evaluations.
- DMA certified (or willingness to become certified).
- Provide license and certification numbers upon application.
