Registered Nurse (Patient Care II) — full-time/part-time shifts in hospital units across Memorial Healthcare System in Florida. Permanent role; unit-specific credentials required. - Must be a licensed RN (active state license) - Minimum 1 year RN work experience (1 year independent practice for fellowship eligibility) - ACLS and BLS; PALS for pediatric areas; ONCC Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider for chemo admins; Fetal Monitoring cert for L&D - Newly licensed RNs get 6 months to obtain ACLS/PALS/Fetal Monitoring where applicable

Complexity of Work: Department specific credentials- ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate required for those RNs administering chemotherapy.- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas.- PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU. Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs.- Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain ACLS and/or PALS, and Fetal Monitoring if L&D.Note: For added clarification, see Mandatory Education Requirements Grid. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of RN work experience Other Information: RN Fellowship Program requires one (1) year of RN independent practice not inclusive of nurse orientation. RN Fellowship specialties require ACLS and BLS certifications.
