Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with an IA or compact license for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring BLS certification and rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work on the 7 North Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes a variety of medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Rotating every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Team-based environment supporting diverse medical and telemetry patient needs
• Documentation of licensure and certifications is required prior to start
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Holiday and weekend coverage are required as part of the regular rotation
• RN candidates from specified states may qualify for local pay rates

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• No minimum years of experience specified
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification for RNs required
• COVID vaccination may be required for consideration
