Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Neighborhood Market Parking Lot Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site guidelines.
Assist with crowd control and/or access control as needed, based on the needs of the retail environment.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
