Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position with floating requirements and night shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Resource Pool, floating to all Med/Surg units as needed
• May be required to float to another location approximately 9.5 miles away
• Patient population includes adult Med/Surg patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• First time travelers will be considered for this position
• RNs must be comfortable floating between multiple Med/Surg units and locations
• Must work assigned weekends and holidays as part of the rotation
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• Scrub requirements or dress code to be provided by facility at onboarding

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification recommended for CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Recent license or certificate verification documentation
