Coverage Needed: January June 2024 Details: You'll be part of an outpatient-focused role that includes clinic and call responsibilities. With an average of 20 patients/admissions per day in the office, the workload is well-balanced, allowing you to provide personalized care. The hospital environment sees an average of one admission per day, maintaining a manageable inpatient census of one baby born per day. The call schedule involves 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, shared collaboratively with a pediatrician, NP, and FM MD. The provider will not respond to codes unless in the nursery. Attendance at C-sections is required when requested by the OB provider. Utilizing the EPIC EMR system, the practice includes 6 exam rooms and onsite lab services. The team consists of 1 MD, 1 FNP, and 4 Nurses/MAs. Required Certifications: BLS PALS NRP Procedures: The practice covers a range of procedures, including onsite lab services, in-house circumcisions, ear irrigation, minor suturing, COVID/sick clinic, point-of-care testing for strep, flu, and RSV, routine well-child exams and vaccines, and COVID vaccines for ages 5-18.
