Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial HQ in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a secure environment by responding promptly to situations and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the premises.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed for incidents and/or emergencies.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports according to site requirements.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related threats or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
