Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with BLS certification and a NM or compact license for a night shift rehabilitation assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation hospital
• Night shift position with 4x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:30)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient care provided in a rehabilitation setting
• Epic charting experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or group submissions accepted
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved
• No time off permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• 1-2 years Med/Surg experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been gone at least 1 year to be eligible
