Job Summary (PCU Float Pool - Days and Nights):
- Works in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool, primarily on night shifts
- Floats to any stepdown/PCU area as needed, may float to additional campuses (Ross Heart, Brain & Spine, Dodd)
- May be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels
- Typical patient ratios: 1 nurse to 3-4 patients
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Must have current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Required skills: IV insertion/starts, telemetry monitoring
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
