TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Massachusetts.

UNIT NAME: M7 Heart Failure Unit
Med/surg, cardiac/tele. Medical management of acute heart failure patients, pre/post care of cardiac procedural patients (cardiac catheterization, cardioversion, ablation, pacer placement, CardioMEMS; Watchman, TAVR as long as external pacing not needed. Patients needing external pacer will not come to M7). Medication infusions Lasix, Bumex, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Milrinone, Dobutamine (but we do not titrate the inotropic infusions)
Unit Size/Beds: 32 rooms, 34 beds.
Expected Ratios: Day shift 1:6 (1:5 if fully staffed); Night shift 1:6 or 1:7 at times (1:5 when fully staffed).
Cases seen: cardiac procedures - cardiac catheterization, cardioversion, ablation, pacer placement, CardioMEMS; Watchman, TAVR
Active MA license ACLS, BLS 2 years. MUST have minimum of 1 year experience in large level one teaching/trauma hospital.
