Overview
As a Billing Coordinator, you will support the team with administrative tasks including auditing client billing statements, reviewing spreadsheets, scanning documents, managing timelines, and contributing to team projects. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, the ability to learn new software, manage multiple priorities, and strong research skills, with experience in health, life, and disability plans preferred but not required.

How you'll make an impact
- Billing discrepancy resolution of simple billing discrepancies or issues, collaborating with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve outstanding billing matters
- Responding to billing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provides customer service by responding to billing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records, enter data into the billing system, update customer information, and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Process billing transactions precisely, including generating invoices, credit memos, and adjustments, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with direct impact on achievement of results for the job area.
- Work consists of tasks that are typically routine, with some deviation from standard practice.
- Works under moderate supervision for routine tasks.
- May seek advice of more senior personnel within function Support.
About You
Required:
- Typically requires minimum of 0-1 year of experience.
- May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.
- Requires basic job knowledge of relevant systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Work Traits:
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- Proficient organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
