Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in a Magnet, Level II Trauma teaching facility, requiring a CA RN license and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital ICU with possible float to Telemetry or Med Surg units
- Patient population includes critical care and telemetry cases
- Facility is Magnet designated, teaching hospital, Level II Trauma Center
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
- Weekend shifts are required
- Charting is done on Cerner EMR
- Floating to other ICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units may be required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Up to 7 days of requested time off and 1 holiday may be approved if submitted prior to offer
- No specific scrub color required, but camouflage or character patterns are not permitted
- Free parking is available
- Cannot accommodate block scheduling or specific schedule requests
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Requirements
- Current and active CA RN license required at the time of application
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- First-time travelers are accepted
