Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience for a flexible weekday schedule in an orthopedic-focused outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic specializing in orthopedic cases
- Average census is approximately 50 visitors per week
- Schedule is Monday through Friday with 3 day shifts and 2 night shifts, latest shift ending at 7pm
- No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Potential to float to a nearby outpatient rehab clinic as needed
- Uses EPIC for charting; experience with this system is required or preferred
- Position primarily involves assessment and treatment of orthopedic conditions, with opportunities for neuro and hand therapy cases
- First-time travelers with appropriate experience are welcome to apply
- Scrub attire consists of a pewter-colored polo top and black or navy khakis
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a different rate
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
Requirements
- Active PA or compact Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient PT experience required
- BLS and CPR certifications required
- Preferred skills include experience with neuro and hand therapy
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required
- Must provide 2 professional supervisory references from the past 2 years
- Copies of current certifications required for consideration
