We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position near Orleans, CA. This is an urgent need with the start date as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be able to provide full-time availability, but we are open to multiple providers if necessary.

Position Highlights:

• Coverage Type:
  • Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
• Practice Setting:
  • Inpatient and Outpatient
• EMR System:
  • Epic
• Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Primarily for procedures, with one day per week dedicated to clinic duties
  • On call during the second week of each month, including evenings and weekends

Practice Details:

• Patients Per Shift:
  • 12-16
• Board Certification:
  • Must be board certified in Internal Medicine
• Certification Required:
  • BLS
• License Requirement:
  • Must be licensed in CA
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:
  • 60-90 days
• Fluoroscopy License:
  • Active CA fluoroscopy license required

Preferred Experience:

• ERCP Experience:
  • Highly preferred
• Procedure Time:
  • Approximately 45 minutes per procedure
• Anesthesia:
  • Hospital will ensure anesthesia availability as needed, with plans to add another CRNA
