We are seeking a Medical Oncologist in Illinois for a 36-day locum tenens assignment starting on Nov 3, 2025. This position involves day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekend coverage required, focusing on direct patient care and coordination within a multidisciplinary cancer team.

Responsibilities and Duties- Provide direct patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care.
- Conduct hospital rounds as needed.
- Collaborate with the in-practice Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for consults, follow-ups, orders, and patient management.
- Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary cancer team.
- Provide coverage when the PRN Medical Oncologist is not on-site.
Additional Information- Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates required.
- Must possess a valid Illinois medical license.
- DEA and CSR licenses required.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) necessary.
- Proficiency with the Epic EMR system is essential.
