Facility Coordinator Maintenance Technician responsible for overseeing daily facility and office operations at an industrial site, including housekeeping, utilities, equipment, vendor coordination, scheduling repairs, and preventive maintenance. Requires ~3+ years' facility coordination or office operations experience, strong vendor management, organizational and communication skills, and ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Temporary 6-month contract, Monday–Friday general shift, with benefits eligibility after waiting period.
Our client, a leading industrial organization, is seeking a Facility Coordinator Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility Coordinator Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations support team supporting facility management activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facility Coordinator Maintenance Technician
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (FLSmidth Midvale)
Pay Range:
Shift: General shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM start, 8.5-hour workday
What's the Job?
- Oversee daily office operations including housekeeping, utilities, and general maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely delivery of facility services
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Support compliance with safety and security standards
- Assist with scheduling repairs and preventive maintenance
What's Needed?
- At least 3 years of experience in facility coordination or office operations
- Strong vendor management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues quickly
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on-site in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
