Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW)
Holidays: Every other holiday (EOH)
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of recent acute care RN experience
Must have Surgical Stepdown experience
IMCU/Stepdown experience required
Experience with automated medication dispensing systems
More than one prior travel assignment required
Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
Telemetry test and Critical Care medication test required on Day 1
Preferred Experience:
Tertiary facility experience
Unit Details:
Surgical Stepdown / IMCU unit
Cares for post-operative patients requiring intermediate-level care transferred from PACU or SICU
Patient population includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients
38-bed unit
Average nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:3, 1:4, or 1:4–5 for MedSurg-level patients
