The ideal candidate have will in-depth knowledge of the diagnosis/treatment of complex GI diseases and be proficient in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures (e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations). Opportunities exist for EMR, ESD, and EUS for appropriately trained candidates.
