- Assignment Type: Locum tenens CRNA position (travel contract)
- Location: Faribault & Owatonna, Minnesota (Zip: 55021) Southern Minnesota healthcare jobs
- Start Date: February 9, 2026
- End Date: May 11, 2026
- Shift: Day shifts, Monday-Thursday (8-hour days: 07:00 - 15:30); Fridays for emergent cases only
- Call: Weekend and PM call required, rotated among providers (beeper call with 30-minute response time; sleep rooms available)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Charting System: Epic EMR
CRNA Qualifications
- Active Minnesota CRNA license or eligibility to obtain
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in a clinical healthcare setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong OB anesthesia experience, including VBAC/TOLAC
- Proficiency with epidurals, TAP blocks, spinal and peripheral nerve blocks
- Ability to work in both supervised (Owatonna) and unsupervised (Faribault) anesthesia care models
- Epic charting experience preferred
CRNA Responsibilities
- Provide general, OB, and pediatric anesthesia care at both Faribault (unsupervised) and Owatonna (supervised) hospitals
- Float between healthcare facilities as needed (locations are 20 minutes apart)
- Perform special procedures including VBAC/TOLAC, epidurals, TAP blocks, spinal and peripheral nerve blocks
- Participate in rotating weekend and PM call coverage (beeper call with 30-minute response time)
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in both elective and emergent situations
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical support staff
- Document all anesthesia care accurately in the Epic EMR system
