A Critical Care/Trauma Physician provides expert medical care in an inpatient hospital setting, managing critically ill patients with acute trauma and complex life-threatening conditions. The role involves performing advanced procedures such as ventilator management, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, and central line placements while supervising advanced practice providers and collaborating with nursing staff. This position requires board certification, multiple emergency certifications, and an active Arizona medical license, with shifts involving care for 4-16 patients in a 28-bed department using the EPIC EMR system.

Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum Board Status: Board Certified
- Required Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS
- Clean Malpractice and NPDB
- Only candidates with an active AZ license will be considered
Job Details:
- EMR: EPIC
- Patients per shift: 4-16
- Beds in department: 28
- Provider will be asked to supervise APP
- Credentialing Timeframe: Est 90 days (Temp privileges available)
- Support: 2-8 RN,1 APP
- Required Procedures: Vent Management, Chest Tube Insertion, Bronchoscopy,Evauluation and Management of acute volume/BP issues, Insertion of central/arterial lines,ICP evaluation and management, Dialysis Catheter Placement
- Current Open Dates: December 1, 2023 - December 4, 2023, December 11, 2023 - January 1, 2024 (More dates to come)
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $300/hr.
