Position Title: Accounts Receivable Support Specialist

Wage: $17.00-$19.20 per hour

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Mon, Fri + your choice of a 3rd day

QPS Employment Group has a great Accounts Receivable Support Specialist position available at an established and professional company in Rockford, IL. This is a part time position with the opportunity for hire. 

Accounts Receivable Support Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
- Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
- Identify and research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts and communicate with customers on a daily basis to meet company metrics.
- Partner with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Accounts Receivable Support Specialist Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers and copiers.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Familiarity with foreign currencies and exchange rates.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- At least two years of related experience required.
