Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Tele (2N) – Nights
Location: Savannah, GA 31405
Position Type: Travel Contract (Radius rule 100 miles)
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Duration: 14 Weeks

Hours/Week: 36 hours/week
- Unit: Med/Tele 2N
- Setting: Acute Care
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4 (occasionally 1:5)
Charting System: Meditech
- Minimum 2 years Med/Tele nursing experience
- Must have successfully completed at least one prior travel contract
- Must have experience in a facility with similar size and acuity
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS required
- Permanent residence must be 101+ miles from the facility ZIP code (31405)
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult Med/Tele patients
- Complete assessments, administer medications, update care plans, and document accurately
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges effectively
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and care team members
- Provide patient and family education
Maintain compliance with safety and infection-prevention standards
- Strong Med/Tele background and clinical judgment
- Proficient in rhythm interpretation
- Experience titrating cardiac-related drips
- Ability to manage a fast-paced assignment with ratios of 1:4–1:5
- Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic documentation; Meditech preferred
- Self-scheduling allowed; shifts may be adjusted for staffing needs
- Block scheduling permitted
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Required unless approved RTO
- Call: None
- Floating: Rare; may float to Neurosurgical PCU (same ratios)
