The Client Service Manager at Gallagher is responsible for managing a portfolio of small business accounts in emerging tech and life sciences, focusing on client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth. This role involves building strong client relationships, supporting renewals, ensuring policy accuracy, and collaborating with internal teams to meet service and compliance standards. The position requires insurance licensing, client service experience, strong communication skills, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Overview
The Branch Client Service Manager II is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the day-to-day account management of an assigned group of accounts within a Branch that consistently meets or exceeds CSO revenue benchmark expectations. This role reports directly into either the Branch Client Service Supervisor or Team Lead. The Branch Client Service Manager II directly contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
How you'll make an impact
- Successfully and profitably manages an assigned group of small business sized accounts focused on emerging tech and life sciences.
- Builds and solidifies relationships with existing internal and external clients as well as carrier personnel by providing exceptional ongoing care.
- In partnership with the Production team, takes a proactive role in the renewal process, ensuring that the best possible solution is delivered to the client in a high-quality & timely manner.
- Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and lines of coverage.
- Cultivates relationships with your buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives.
- Partner with your team members in addressing a client’s risk management needs through consultative conversations.
- Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures.
- Follows company procedures in order to achieve positive periodic audit results & ensure compliance standards and service levels are met.
- Ensures accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy in rating, coverage, signatures, and enters these transactions to generate billing invoices in a timely manner within the Gallagher system.
- Leverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion
- Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.
- Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
- Property and Casualty Insurance License
- Ability to travel locally up to 5% of the time for training or client visits.
- Proficiency in Epic (Applied Systems) , CSR24, DMS, plus Microsoft suite, & Indio
Preferred:
- Previous insurance knowledge, particularly in emerging tech & life sciences
- Experience managing client relationships
- Solid financial acumen
