Compensation:

• Base Salary: Starting at $235,000 annually
• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
• Relocation Bonus: $15,000
• Quality Bonus: Up to $5,000 per quarter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team in Lake Charles, LA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic. Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
  • Perform routine physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Manage a variety of medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory diseases, and more.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.

• Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate care across different providers.

• Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
  • Meet or exceed quality benchmarks, with the opportunity to earn quarterly quality bonuses.

• Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and thorough electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and guidelines.

• Community Involvement:

  • Engage with the local community to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in outreach programs and events as a representative of the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana (or ability to obtain).
