Traypack Machine Operator

Stable day shift with overtime at a major food manufacturer (Conagra Brands) in Imlay City, MI. Traypack Machine Operator; Day shift 6:45 AM–4:00 PM; on-site in Imlay City, MI; hourly $20.74; ongoing role with overtime as needed; reports to supervision. - Must operate tray pack casing, shrink wrap and mash coder machines - Able to set up machines and perform routine quality checks - Read and interpret English safety/operation/maintenance instructions - Able to maintain sanitation and complete paperwork - Willingness to train others and work in team environment

Shift: 6:45 AM-4:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $20.74 an hour

At Conagra Brands - Imlay City, Michigan, home of Vlasic, we are looking for a Tray Pack Operator to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers. You will work onsite in a team environment at Imlay City, Michigan location. The current vacancy is on day shift. You will be assigned overtime based on production demand. You will report to Supervision.

What will you do:

As a Tray Pack Operator, you will ensure the proper operation of the casing machines and shrink wrap devices. Machine set up verified following standard for production run. You will perform routine quality verifications observing standard.

Job Responsibilities:

You will:

• Operate the tray pack casing and shrink wrap machine.

• Operate mash coder including changes and setup.

• Monitor quality of operation such as coding, tray assembly, and label applications.

• Load tray blanks, stretch film and hot melt.

• Maintain machine and surrounding areas neat and sanitary.

• Communicate with your co-workers, Production Lead, Quality Department and other Team Leaders.

• Train employees.

• Complete all paperwork observing standard work

• Interpret a variety of instructions/documents (English language) such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• You will ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
