This established clinic is part of a comprehensive healthcare system serving the Duluth area and surrounding communities. The facility offers integrated nephrology care across outpatient, inpatient, and dialysis settings with a strong team-based approach.
Opportunity: NP/PA - Nephrology
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join an established nephrology practice with a collaborative team environment.
Job Details:
- Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills to provide comprehensive patient care
- Work collaboratively with a team of 3 APPs and 4 MDs
- Provide care across all three phases of nephrology including clinic, inpatient, and dialysis units
- Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- 70% clinic work and 30% hospital work including dialysis rounding
- Manage approximately 8-12 office patients or 10-15 outreach/dialysis patients per day
- Assist with non-encounter work as needed
- Flexible location options - can live in Duluth area or surrounding communities (Ashland, Hayward, WI, or Virginia, MN)
- Variable start and end times due to travel requirements
- Requires Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Must have current NP or PA licensure in Minnesota & Wisconsin
- National certification and current CPR certification required
- Ideal candidate has experience in complex chronic disease management
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, and production-based compensation.
