Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute inpatient experience to cover inpatient acute care and skilled nursing facility settings.
Responsibilities
- Work in inpatient acute care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
- Day shift from 07:00 to 15:30
- 13-week assignment with a weekly rotation of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
- Will float between inpatient acute care and SNF as needed
- Orientation is provided bi-weekly
- No local candidates are accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule
- Travel pairs are not permitted except in rare unit-specific circumstances
- Must have no gaps in work history for consideration
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience in an acute care setting
- Active Kentucky or compact state PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Copy of driver’s license required
- Two professional references required
