Dallas Nursing Job Details

• Location: Dallas, Texas (75230) – Texas nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 5, 2025 (Tuesday start required)
• End Date: February 4, 2026
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: Yes (call required unless working weekends or nights)
• Setting: Main Operating Room (30 ORs + 3 Litho Suites)
• Dress Code: RN royal blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas RN license preferred
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Experience in general surgery and robotic surgery required
• Flexible, positive attitude and strong clinical skills
• Neuro and transplant nursing experience preferred

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a busy, advanced operating room setting
• Assist with surgical procedures: General, GYN, Urology (open & robotic), Orthopedics (no spine), Plastics, Pediatric General, Pediatric Ortho
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including surgeons, anesthesia techs, CSTs, and PCTs
• Operate advanced surgical technology including DaVinci, Mako, and Rosa robots
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage during holidays as needed
• Maintain precise documentation using Meditech EMR system
